Ms Thomason started her career in healthcare as an RN in 1978.
She initially worked in hospitals in the Permian Basin specializing in adult critical care, clinical nursing education and later served as an Asst. Nursing Administrator before relocating with her family to the Abilene area.
After turning her focus on family, she spent the next 15 years in the public school system, providing care for children and families. It was here that she realized her passion for a clinic approach to patient care and subsequently pursued her present role as Family Nurse Practitioner. While completing this course work, she additionally worked as adjunct faculty in the College of Nursing at UT Arlington for undergraduate nursing students.

Spending LOADS of time with granddaughter, cooking, crafting,
breeding/showing the incredible Mi-Ki dog breed. Her dogs have received numerous championship titles.
